Hashers and Harriettes, click the web link in this listing for more details and a map (updated 10/22)!
The trail: Turkey of about 4 miles and eagle of about 7 miles. Both trails are A-to-A. Expect deep virgin shiggy of redshank and manzanita, and sweet wandering single-track. The area is a recently designated wilderness in the San Bernardino National Forest. Plan to carry water if the weather is warm.
“… Oh, my!” Run this trail with a partner. While scouting, I found cougar tracks and spoor.
Stay overnight: Folks will be staying over Friday and Saturday nights to enjoy the breathtaking stars (weather permitting) and the fine companionship. If overnighting, bring warm clothes. See the website for info on camping, food, brew, and gate entry.
