Location: Camp Pendleton
Directions: I-5 to Camp Pendleton exit (north end of Oceanside). From the Main Gate, follow Vandegrift Blvd. about 7 1/2 miles to 11th St. (fire station on the corner), turn right, about 1/2 mile turn left into parking lot (just before 11th St turns right). Look for Hahsers.

North County Hash is 24 years old! Join us in the beautiful hills of Camp Pendleton. Eagle trail a little over 6 miles, the Turkey trail a little less than 5 miles. This is an A-A, drive to B run. B is at Lake O'Neill. From the run start return 1/2 mile to Vandegrift Blvd., turn right, continue about 2 miles to the 4th traffic light, Santa Margarita River Rd, turn left toward hospital. 1/4th mile turn right into Lake O'Neill recreation area, continue 1/2 mile to the picnic shelter on the left. The site of a scrumptous catered lunch.
Base regulations say dogs must be on a leash at all times.
To drive on Camp Pendleton you must have a driver's license, vehicle registration and proof of insurance. Consider car pooling. If a gate sentry asks your destination or purpose tell him "The 22 Area for a fun run". If they ask who the sponsor is tell them CDR V.H. Krulak USN Retired or LtCol M.H. Collier USMC Retired.
