Notes:
So, PPI sent this email to 9" Turkey and Scissors. "Got a great trail planned! The eagle is 11.5 miles! And it's all vertical! And they'll get all muddy and bloody! And it finishes at your house where you can feed everybody, then scrub the toilets and destain the carpets afterwards! And, no, I haven't figured out the turkey trail but, hey, they're just turkeys." After some back-and-forth, in which 9" reminded PPI that nobody trusts him already, and adding contempt to that would assure that nobody would ever buy him a beer again, a compromise was reached. (Grateful eagles should buy us some beers in thanks.) Trails will be A-to-B, so bring a bag to put your gear on the B-van. Distances will be moderate (on the hares' scale, that is). Dogs are OK on both trails, but they must be rugged rovers for the eagle. Trail strollers are OK on the turkey with one likely detour, but they would be quite difficult on the eagle. Bring water and a way to carry it. Remember, North County is a whistle hash!
