Directions: 5 to Tamarack, go right, which would be away from the big wet blue salty thing. First left onto Pio Pico. While driving by large yet triangular shaped park, look for Pine. Go right an park. Look for hashers with bikes, or crash the Rodriguez quinciniera.

Concluding another fine Get A Life Week, it's a Humpin' / Hare Of The Dog Ride'n'Tie! If you have a bike, please bring it. As before, pair up with someone so there's one bike per every two hashers, alternate r*ding and r*nning, enjoy a beercheck while you wait for your r*der or r*nner to appear, then lather-rinse-repeat above for a total of 8 beer checky exchange points. Super-Eagle does this whole trail without a bike. It's about 9 miles total.
8 hares! 8 beerchecks! 3 of the tie point/beerchecks are at bars where you can buy something if you want. The other 5 beerchecks are included in r*nfee.
Difficulty of trail sections are carefully calibrated to accommodate pack and hare drunkenness potential.
We can recommend the following at this time:
- Bikes without skinny tires may fare better on this trail.
- Bring a bike light. Really!
- Motel 6 on Carlsbad Village Dr. has luxurious accommodations for those of you who may have to travel further than biking distance afterward. And the Rodeway Inn, adjacent to park on Pio Pico, has convenient yet less luxurious digs.
