To 1995

A look back at some great runs through the history of SDH3.
Run #152, April 6, 1985

Back when the list of mere mortals included Melanie Campbell (Manhandler), Dan Diehr (Tractor), and Susan Russell (Short Cake).

"Run#152: 7:30 A.M., Saturday, April 6th. The first annual(?) Hashallon. Hares VanGo, 5 Cents, Mr. Spock, Jock, tight (lips), Clark Kent, Short Cut, and APollo(?) will depart at 7:45. Meet in Temecula; more specific directions to follow. Bring your family, a picnic lunch, and above all a camera to run with because you will be pleasantly surprised at VanGo's latest Harebrained scheme. The run will be divided into two phases. The 1st phase will be a very easy run of no more than 2 cross country miles after which kids, wimps, sissy la-las, and wounded will be transported to the run's end; following the pack as they go. The 2nd phase will be a no wimp, all stops pulled minimum 1 hour cross country Hash. If you plan on bringing people that will require 2nd phase transportation call VanGo."
