Address: Solana Ranch Park in Carmel Valley area. Intersection of Pacific Highlands Ranch Parkway and Blazing Star Lane.
Directions: From Highway 56 head north on Carmel Valley Road to Pacific Highlands Ranch Parkway (opposite shopping mall) and turn left. Park is two blocks up on your right. Run Fee: Gratis Trail type: A to A Dog friendly: Yes Notes: Trail will be ready by 9:30 a.m. Main all-weather trail is 5.5-ish miles, including one beer check for all and virgin single track segments. Walker trail is 3.5-ish miles. No PO or fences. Beer check staffed 10 -11 a.m. and will then move to the park. Trail starts at the east end of park.
Relatively weather-proof marks and mark locations will be used. And, of course, all false trails will be terminated by 3 lines.
Park has gazebo, bathrooms, and tables around a central grass area.
