Join the Just J's as we hit the jungle trail, packed with jungle juice drink checks, wild shiggy shenanigans, and enough laughter to scare the monkeys. Along the way, the Just J's will be named and baptized in true Hash fashion, earning their monikers as two wild-n-crazy jungle belles (aka feral vixens of the vine). Expect slippery paths, questionable shortcuts, and chaos that only these ladies could dream up. We'll pre-lube at PAL Joey's to loosen the legs and the morals, then charge headfirst into the green abyss. Leave the flip flops and high heels at home this time. Dogs are ok on trail, especially if they'll help protect you against snakes, scorpions, and Manaids, but they may not be ok at On-in. Guys, bring those big bananas of yours. If your banana is old and limp, we got you covered.

We will lay a short and easy trail for all those brave hashers who likes to start drinking early on Sunday instead go to church. What to expect? Not one, not five, but 2 beer checks. Not one, not five, but from 3.5 to 4 miles trail. Not one, not five, but 2 tamales after trail. Yes, Chupa Chupa is our food hare and she will make tamales for the pack. Trail and park are dog friendly and we encourage our amigos to do a double trail this Sunday because we will go to humpin after our trail.

Mardi Gras traces its roots to ancient Roman and pagan fertility festivals, later adopted by French Catholics as a pre-Lent celebration, Fat Tuesday. French explorers brought it to North America and in Louisiana it evolved into the masked balls, parades, and proudly excessive customs we know today. We're honoring that spirit with drinking, masquerading, and unapologetic debauchery.

Soso and Scar Tissue are bringing Bourbon Street energy to San Diego with a Half-Assed Mardi Gras drinking trail, starting at NOLA on 5th and parading through parts of Hillcrest. Trail is under 3 miles but stacked with drink checks, New Orleans traditions, and bad decisions. It's also Scar's birthday trail! She's the queen, but Soso is the real MVP, NOLA born and raised.

Expect loud colors, loud music, and even louder hashers. Purple, green, and gold everywhere. Jazz vibes, beads, masks, feathers, tutus, and whatever chaos you feel like wearing. Want more beads? You gotta earn them.

We're bringing New Orleans to San Diego the Half-Assed way. No restraint. All revelry.

A short history about the 100 plus beer checks coming to Humpin' H3. Back in 2003, Dover's outlandish behavior of more beer pit stops than imagine was enough for LBH3, LAH3, and OCHHH. And like Alexander The Great, who wept and cried for no more lands to conquer. Well, Ben Dover wept and cried for no more beer checks to conquer. Well, that's what he thought. When all hope is lost, a miracle happens. Ben Dover got in touch with Humpin' famous Sex Cadet and told him about the countless of beers on trail. SC open his eyes with delight and said, Fuck Yeah! Let's do it! God bless the Marines! Uncle Sam's Misunderstood Children who accepted Dover's wild imagination for a hash trail. Rest is history!

So the guild for 100 plus beer checks. Eat a good breakfast before the drink fest. Never start that event on an empty stomach, ever. The hares are cutting down on the beers per every beer check. We are looking at one beer at every sud stop. 126 beers is a lot, right? We'll also add shots, water, and other alcoholic beverage. Boy! It will be fun! The hash trail itself will be dominated by beer check, after beer check, after beer check.... Yeah, the hares get cute. But! As always, the hares always turn around and join into the infamous party on trail.

The Dude minds! All you half minds will find out what happens when you fuck a stranger in the ass as we once again honor the Dude with a nice easy run over some (Jeff) bridges. Costume tributes are highly encouraged: Robes, bowling shirts, old army jackets from 'Nam, Nihilist apparel, purple jumpsuits, rugs, etc. The run fee is an extra dollar to help cover the infamous White Ukrainian check.
