Location: Mountain Hawk Park, Otay Lakes/Chula Vista
Directions: I-125-south, bring $3 change for toll, exit Otay Lakes Rd (Telegraph Canyon Rd), go east, right on Lake Crest Drive, Park is 3 blocks down on left. If coming down I-5 or 805, take 54 east to I-125 South. From east San Diego, just take 94 west to I-125. Non-toll option: I-805 to Telegraph Canyon east to Lake Crest Drive. About 10-15 minutes further this way.

Worth the drive, start/end is an undiscovered gem of a park. NOTE THE LATER START TIME to allow for drivng time, church, or Saturday night hangovers. In keeping with the DRH3 innocence, all virgin trail and ending. Mostly on dirt trail. Pigeon(3/4 m), turkey(1 1/4 m) and eagle (3 1/4 m) options. Pigeon is entirely smooth and flat for double-strollers and such, turkey adds some easy rolling trail. Bring swimsuits for "Sprayground"! Bring your boat, fishing gear, or mountain bike and head down to the lakes after the hash.
