Directions: For you south living types take the Via Rancho exit off the I-15 in Escondido. Follow the signs to the Wild Animal Park Safari. Go past the Zoo thing entrance almost 1.5 miles to the Historic State Park Battlefield Museum parking lot

Filling in at the last moment leaves less time for scouting the best route but then again what is the best route to a memorable hash? We have some prime country atmosphere and a running river this week. Some extra dry shoes are highly recommended as we will take advantage of recent rains. Simple trail, medium length, A-A
