It's hot. Let's not run the hills of Poway. We shall instead go to the beach for the storm surge. To answer curious questioner; No, the beach is not paved, It is sandy, or rocky, or looking at the Tide Chart which says high tide at 1 or 2, maybe a tad wet. Cum watch where the surf meets the cliff at Carlsbad. Meet at the big shopping center bounded by Poinsettia, Avenida Encinas, and the I-5 in front of the grocery or someplace.
