It's the desert you're running in. Bring something to hold water in as you do the trail. There will be water/gatorade/beer at the checks but nothing for you to carry fluids for in between checks. Better safe than sorry.
***UPDATE***
Weather looks fabulous for Saturday with high of 82 degrees. We'll start the run at 0830. It's OK to decide to come a the last minute, but send us an email if you plan on coming asap so we can bring enough beer and food. email us at: joe.cooke@me.com or la_buf@yahoo.com.

Hare of the Dog is biking the Gorge on Sunday so don't forget your bike if so inclined.

Berserk Hash 2012 at De Anza Springs (clothing optional resort). Great beer and food will be provided to include choice Green Flash Brews. Saturday will include a light breakfast, lunch and BBQ Dinner. Friday night is BYOB and BYO appetizer for sharing. Note that the resort has a full bar and restaurant.
Trails include: The Saturday A.M. long, hard Berserk Trail and a kinder and gentler Turkey trail, Sunday recovery walk/ride.
And if you're still not tired horse shoes, swimming, hot tubbing, volleyball, karaoke (Fri night), and dancing (Sat night), local casinos, etc.
Costs:
$60-Two nights
$45-One night
$35-Saturday only (all meals/day resort use)
$15-Run/Lunch only (no resort use, park outside gate)
