Dog friendly: No
Notes:
The Berserk Hash will be running this weekend at the De Anza Springs nudist resort. On Sunday morning Dr.Dive welcomes you to come join us for a clothing optional bike ride to the Goat Canyon Trestle, the longest curved wooden railroad trestle in the world and the second longest wooden trestle. The trail is 14 easy miles out and back alongside the railroad tracks and never more than a few percent grade. However the trackside is a little sandy and passes through several long tunnels, so super skinny road bike tires aren't recommended (hybrid bike is ok), and some sort of bike light or flashlight is highly recommended. I also suggest bringing some water as it will get hot, a snack, and at least some booze for the end, if not on the ride itself. Carrizo Gorge is a beautiful area of desert wilderness, however it's remote and has no cell reception, so a spare bike tube, bike tools, and small first aid kit might also be useful. The drive to the start is about an hour from San Diego but allow an extra half hour to setup your bike and get ready.
