USMC Birthday run

Address: Paintball Park, Camp Pendleton
Directions: I-5 to Highway 76 in Oceanside. East on 76 to traffic light at Douglas Dr., turn left. Follow Douglas Dr. to the traffic light at Vandergrift Blvd., turn left and follow to the base gate. The paintball park is 3/4 mile past the gate, on the left.

North County HHH will celebrate the 242nd birthday of the United States Marine Corps with a run on beautiful Camp Pendleton.
Your Hares, Kitty-Kitty and Psycho will provide multiple trails suitable for any and every Hasher.
Directions to B:
Turn left out of the paintball parking lot. Follow Vandergrift Blvd. for about 3 1/2 miles to the traffic light at Santa Margarita road, turn right. Continue 1/4 mile to Lake O'Neill road, turn right, continue 1/2 mile to the 5th covered picnic area on the left (our usual spot)
Jockstrap will set up the chow line with food to suit any Marine's taste. And of course the beer flows freely.
If you have not previously been registered with base security for this run, and you do not possess a valid military or civil service ID card, you will not be able to come on the base.
To drive on the base you need a valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and current vehicle registration.
If the gate sentry asks your destination and purpose, tell them the paintball park for a Marine Corps Birthday run, with a follow on picnic at Lake O'Neill.
If they ask about a sponsor tell them Cindy Eckhoff.
A reminder that base regulations say dogs must be on a leash at all times.
