Directions: DO NOT FOLLOW INTERNET MAPS IF THEY DIRECT YOU TO SUERTE DEL ESTE OR CANYON DE ORO ROAD, WHICH ARE UNPAVED AND VERY ROUGH. SUERTE DEL ESTE IS VIRTUALLY IMPASSABLE FOR MOST VEHICLES. The only paved route leading here is Elfin Forest Road to Fortuna Del Este, which turns into Canyon De Oro after ~1 mile. Park along Canyon de Oro or Paint Mountain Road near its intersection with Canyon de Oro and LFP. You can access Elfin Forest Road from I-5 or Rte 78 by heading to San Elijo Hillls, where Elfin Forest Road runs into the center of town. From I-15, take Valley Parkway to Citracado to Harmony Grove Village Drive to Harmony Grove Road, which turns into Elfin Forest Road about 2 miles past the Elfin Forest Reserve.

The hares humbly suggest that next Monday be designated "Dogfish Memorial Day" by those who knew our great founder and friend. Please do not come if you are not comfortable socializing yet, but keep Dogfish in your thoughts. If you are ready to break free for an afternoon, we will do our best to return to the Memorial Day tradition of a decade ago, when we gathered each year at Casa de Wax. There is now a new Casa de Wax and Huge Piece there will be some conscientious Covid restrictions such as prohibiting or at least limiting hot tub use, unprotected sex, etc. But we will return to the tradition of serving up a feast that would make Dogfish proud and there will be a very scenic 4-5 mile trail, most of which has never been traversed by the Hash.
