Thomas Bros: RIP
Run Fee: $8
Trail type: A to A, drive to B
On after: Casino Inn patio (for more food) OR Mcilhenney Brewing Co patio (for awesome brew and tp-go's.) But you may linger at On In if you like.
Dog friendly: Other (specified in Notes)
Notes:
Note "late" run start to allow the extra half hour drive for many. The On In will be at the Shire (B), but please only drive there after the A to A trail.

(For newbies, The Shire is my nickname for a unique "art house" designed by James Hubbell. See Facebook event for details.)

The scenic trail will be run 10 miles/minutes east of Alpine, south of Descanso. The area is not large enough for an Eagle distance, unless overachievers want to pound adjacent roads after true trail. Turkey may be fully walked.

Important: Runstart and On In both have limited parking of about 12 cars nearby. Essential for hashers to carpool in groups! Please plan a-HEAD with your closest hashers. Please do not park in bike lanes! But dirt fully off pavement is ok. BYO pop-ups and chairs.

Trail notes: It gets close to a FEW PO patches, though can be carefully avoided. Any trail dogs must be tightly leashed to avoid PO, beasts and possible snakes. Although we have legal public access, this doubles as a working cattle ranch (scenery!) Trail will "steer" clear of bulls, cows and calves, but they roam. Do not approach or they may defend. Stay over 60 yards away, go sideways to not threaten. (If you must depart trail, go right and some FRB will find it again past the critters.)
