Directions: Pretend you are going to Wax My Ass's house but turn North on Seaquest Trail. Map Link:https://goo.gl/maps/UKbut2MiBjAV9PH66 Run Fee: $8 Trail type: A to A On after: Craftsman Tavern Encinitas https://www.craftsmantavern.com/ Off of El Camino Real 1/2 mile North of Encinitas Blvd on east side. They have a patio and are dog friendly. Dog friendly: Yes Notes: In the great tradition of the mighty Humpin HHH this trail will be shiggy filled. You will be asking yourself "Am I in Encinitas or Guam?" There will be some virgin trail to be had. The trail will be 80% off road but even the road parts are really off road. 1 or 2 water crossings (bring dry shoes for On In) depending on if you do the Hawk trail 4.2 miles (but definitely not a Turkey trail) or the Eagle trail which will be 5 miles. Both with 2 well deserved beer checks as well. The trail is dog friendly for the most part however you may need to help your pooch in a few places.
