By Car - Take I5 and exit at "Sea World Drive/Tecolote Rd". Exit going EAST for about a half of a mile (past intersection of Shell station).
By Mass Transit: Runstart is a 10 minute walk from the San Diego's Trolley's Blue line - Exit at Tecolote Road Trolley Station. When exiting Trolley, look for steps leading up onto overpass. Take a right (inland) once you are on the overpass, pass the Shell station.. Trolley is accessible from Old Town and Downtown.

Notes:
This run is the Prelude/Prelube to/for the Red Dress Run; It is not your typical long NCH3 trail (given that many of you will be participating in the RDR being held later in the day). It features a "Hangover trail" (for those who can't handle a mile), a Walker Trail (less than 2 miles), and an off-road running trail with (2) T/E splits whose length is between 2.5 and 5 miles, depending upon the Eagle options run. Those choosing to do Eagle options, should be on the lookout for Poison Oak, especially where trail narrows and if one is running with a dog.
This run counts toward Get-A-Life Week... You need to run either this run or the Red Dress run to get credit towards running "today".
