Hare Lies
A simple trail and snacks run. If you have a smart phone, copy and paste the Thomas Bros link from above into your web browser. It will open a Google map of today's trail.
The eagle trail is recommended. It will be about six miles and have two beer checks but no dogs or strollers on the eagle trail. Also, it might be wet and muddy. Lastly, the marsh section will not have trail markings for 2.6 miles; just follow the existing path to the south.
The turkey trail will be about 5 miles out and back with one beer check while the walkers trail will be walk out and back at your own distance and without a beer check. Sorry.

I have added a second beer check for the eagle trail.
As the eagle trail will run through the marsh preserve, eagles may get muddy. Also, the marsh section will not have trail markings for 2.6 miles; just follow the existing path to the south. I will post a Google Map of trail with the hare lies.

We have started and ended here a few times but trail will be 90 percent new. It is recommended to take the six mile eagle trail as this will cover new trail with some restrictions (no dogs or strollers on the eagle trail at the beer check split). There will be a 4.6 mile turkey trail and walk as far as you want walker trail. Only eagle and turkey will have a beer checks.
If you are planning on walking the eagle trail, you can start as early as 9:15am.
