Welcome to the party, pal. On this day 35 years ago, an NYPD detective was invited to a Christmas Eve party at the Nakatomi building in Los Angeles. "Come out to the coast, we'll get together, have a few laughs," they said. Little did he know the building was about to be taken over by terrorists set to pull off the heist of the century. But Hans and his gang were no match for the barefooted and wise-cracking John McClane. This hash will celebrate his triumph over evil and in doing so, the creation of the greatest Christmas movie of all time: Die Hard. Bring a lighter or headlamp because you might have to crawl through some air ducts or tunnels. Drink checks will have Christmas music and drinks featured in the movie like champagne, nipper bottles, and Coke (not that kind, Ellis). Dress up in your favorite Christmas party or Die Hard themed attire. Food will also be movie-related with stale twinkies, crunch bars, and a build-your-own sandwich bar. Yippee-Ki-Yay, motherfuckers!
