Come out and catch the leprechaun for St. Patrick's Day: all Irish and non-Irish welcome.
SDH3 figured that half the pack has kids and has decided to combine with the Family Hash for a St. Patrick's Day extravaganza.
As the SDH3 eagle trail will run through the marsh preserve, eagles may get muddy. Strollers, bikes, and dogs are not allowed there. Also, the marsh section will not have trail markings for 2.6 miles; just follow the existing path to the south. Barbie will post a Google Map of the eagle trail. If you have a smartphone, copy and paste the Thomas Bros link from above into your web browser. It will open a Google map of eagle trail.
There will be a shorter and much more tame SDH3 turkey trail that will also be the Family Hash trail.
The Family Hash will have both the main and stroller trails (turkey and walker trails), with plenty of opportunities to shortcut.
Regardless of your age, be sure to wear green and be ready for a nap after!
Eagle trail approximately six miles with two beer checks, turkey trail will be 3-4 miles with one beer check and walker/stroller trail will be shorter and BYOB.
