===========================
Cum out to Serra Mesa for a challenging trail featuring shiggy, and a tunnel taking you to Snapdragon Stadium featuring a beer check. There are multiple T/E splits.. If one takes all the Eagle trails - the run distance will be approximately 7.25 miles. The first T/E split is at the start.. It is a Eagle "loop", which returns to the start upon completion, at which time the Eagle joins the Turkeys entering the Taft Trailhead...to the Ruffin Canyon Trail.

Attn: For those "Turkey" hashers who use hiking poles or who are not sure footed, please take the first Eagle loop, and then enter the Ruffin Canyon at the trail head. When the trail comes out of the canyon, take the Walker Trail (on Mission Village Drive - Make LEFT). Adventurous Eagles and Turkeys should cross Mission Village to continue their off road adventure, which includes water hazards, slippery slopes, and the option for doing a tunnel leading to Snapdragon Stadium. The Walker trail will take you directly back to "A" (no beer check).

The adventurous Turkeys and Eagles will be treated to a spooky tunnel which has some great artwork, as well as potentially some wild life, and some water hazards.. Please make sure to bring a flash light to do this tunnel. The walls of the storm drain into which this tunnel exits, can be steep and slick so a rope will be provided to assist.. Those not wishing to do the tunnel can run to the Beer Check by taking the "Bike Route" that runs parallel to (on top of) the tunnel, leading down to the stadium.

Unfortunately all good things must come to an end (at the beer check), where Turkeys and Eagles need to hike back to their vehicles up a steep paved road (approximately 1 mile in length)... and drive to "B" (You can finally get the Cardio part of your workout ;-)
