Did you know that Women's History Month started as a local movement in California? Back in 1978, in Sonoma County, local activists set out to turn International Women's Day (March 8th) into a week-long celebration. That momentum led to President Jimmy Carter to proclaim the first National Women's History Week in 1980, and by 1987 Congress officially designated March as Women's History Month.
In honor of that (and because The Cockodile Hunter has been looking for an excuse to unleash her "Power of the Pussy" trail on the West Coast, after haring it a few times for Baltimore-Annapolis H3) you're invited to dress in your most purrfect feline finery as we prowl the mean streets (and trails) of Bankers Hill and beyond!
