Trail type: A to A prime

Notes:
I told Kitty Kitty that my 1000th run was coming up...(given he is one of a very few who have reached that milestone). I asked him for any words of wisdom, and he said "Don't let it go to your head"..

I guess I did - as I spent a year coordinating my running schedule so that I could hare on my 1000th run, and the event could occur on my 70th Birthday.. so please join me for my milestone event...

The run start is half way between the "On-In" and "On-After" (About 6 blocks separate the On-In and On-After). If you decide to park closer to the "On-In", follow the "To Start" arrows..

All trails include a least one beer check (longer trails may have more beer checks), and all trails have some off road components. There is a walking trail (under 3 miles), and 3 running trails: a Turkey (< 5mi), an Eagle (< 6.5mi) and a SuperEagle trail (> 7mi). All running trails offer an "Adventure" split for which knee pads are recommended (Virgin territory with a very low bridge). All running trails also go through a "clean" tunnel that is about .25 miles in length (flashlight recommended). If you are running with a dog - a way of getting around the tunnel will be marked (follow arrow labeled "Dogs").

A word about Poison Oak.. San Clemente has a lot of it. Those taking the Turkey and Eagle trails, will not encounter any of it if they stay on trail. The SuperEagle trail has P.O. on the trail, so watch for it- you can step around it..

--

Easy-Out will be making some great grub, including a special desert. For those celebrating "Passover" - there will be alternative food choices.. including a delicacy by Goes Down Screaming.

Please note that the On-In is a private back yard with limited space, so those with dogs are requested to have their dogs on leash at the end. The On-In location also has a "Puzzle" Little Library adjacent to it - should you like to do Jigsaw Puzzles, and wish to trade out your Jigsaw puzzles..

The "On-After" is a pool party... featuring a hot tub. Look for arrows leading you to the house at the intersection of Lehrer Dr. and Frink Ave. There will be some refreshments at the On-After, or if you would like to make sure of a libation you want, there is a Smart and Final on Clairemont Mesa Blvd and Limerick Ave.
