Directions: Highway 5 Southbound: Exit east on La Jolla Village Drive. Drive .8 mile and turn right (south) on Costa Verde Drive. Drive .6 mile. The park driveway is just past Nobel Drive on your right.
Highway 5 northbound: Exit highway 5 at Nobel Drive and turn east. Drive .6 mile and turn right (south) on Cargill Drive. Park driveway is 1/2 block on your right.
805 southbound: Exit on La Jolla Village Drive to the west. Drive .5 mile and turn south (left) on Genesee Ave. Drive about .3 mile and turn right (west) on Noble Avenue. Go 1 block and turn left (south) on Cargill Avenue. Drive 1/2 block to park driveway on your right.
805 northbound: Exit on Nobel Drive to the west. Drive 1.5 miles and turn left (south) on Cargill Avenue. Drive 1/2 block to park driveway on your right. Escape the June Gloom and run in the sunny UTC neighborhoods and canyons!
Park near the corner of Cargill Ave and Decoro Street. Walk up the unnamed driveway into the park. There is limited parking near the dog park. Meet at the tables up the hill next to the baseball field and bathrooms.
A scenic 3 mile Walker+Turkey trail and a challenging 4.6 mile Eagle trail will be provided. Lots of shiggy but some asphalt, too. Trail shoes best.
And, of course, there will be a beer and water check for all.
Dogs OK in park and trail but be aware there is some poison oak on the edges of the trails.
